My husband purchased one of these books for me as a surprise one evening, I had never heard of this author, or read any of her books. At first I was not happy, because I did not figure that I needed another book around the house, I have many of them, but once I started reading, I was hooked. I have not read this particular book yet, I have just started stashing them as I can, and plan to read them all at once, but I will say, if you have not read this author, so far she creates a pretty easy read. I have read three of her books so far, and I have not been disappointed yet. I do recommend, that you read them in order, I read book to first, then book one, and then ended up reading book to a second time before I moved on to book 3, the story did make more sense once I read them in order. However, if you have to start with book too, you will still understand what is going on later.

Fun summer read with good characters & a nice story. Love the lakeshore town & its people -on to the next one.
Typical Susan heartfelt story that made me anxious to get back to reading when I had to put it down. Her stories always pull at the heartstrings with anticipation, never sure how it will actually end with the happy ending. Her books never disappoint me.
This author has created a series whose characters always draw me. The books are all related in some way but can be read as stand alone. Each time I reconnect with them I have enjoyed it.
I started reading Wiggs' books a long time ago. Love them, but I can't put them down. I have read them all in print asap or as soon as I had the money. Great well developed characters, no over the top sex scenes that some authors make longer to read than the sex took to perform. Just plain good writing, editing, and. Love.
Susan Wiggs is a favorite author. She has a way of inviting you in and meeting the people of the town, so in the end, you can't put the book down.
She makes you care about the people and their troubles and cares. That's a GREAT author.
I enjoyed reading this book from start to finish. The author does an excellent job of keeping the story line going forward with all the twists and turns she has. She is a VERY good writer. I am a writer too, and I have seldom enjoyed a story as much as I did this one I write under my pen name of Sheila Huntington. I give it five stars.
I could see from the time Bo and Kim meet at the airport, there was a story. I found it refreshing and surprising to meet a mother who genuinely loved her daughter and reached out to other people. It's tiring to always have imperfect people who are parents be the bad guys. I enjoyed getting to know A J, Bo, and Kim. Great story!
