I really appreciated that these highly educated authors listed some common symptoms of anxiety. They then go into different natural remedies and practices to help you alleviate the conditions. “Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress” is an exceptional book, and I truly believe that it could be a useful tool for adults dealing with anxiety. The book is written using concise language that is easy to understand. Thus, it manages to convey relatively complex medical and psychological terms in a manner that is not overwhelming. It provides useful/practical information and presents the reader with multiple options regarding how to cope with anxiety. This book was so helpful to me, that I have since shared it with my friends who also deal with anxiety. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking to understand how to cope with anxiety. The remedies listed in this book (examples aroma therapy, writing techniques, music, and yoga) are practical, useful, and have worked for me.

Please be aware that this book is a guide, more of a “how-to” text intended to offer various coping mechanisms- it is not a scientific research study. Therefore, the book does not offer in-depth scientific explanations describing why/how certain coping mechanisms work. Instead, the authors use ordinary language to provide a general summary of how anxiety affects adults and how certain coping mechanisms can be used to alleviate anxiety. It is a bit repetitive in some places. For example, the symptoms that accompany anxiety, health consequences of anxiety, and some remedies are repeated multiple times in the exact same manner throughout the book. However, this does not diminish the overall effectiveness and usefulness of the book (in my personal opinion). In summary, the authors do a splendid job of taking an emotionally triggering and complex subject and explaining it to the general public in an understandable manner. I will be reading this book again, and I would recommend it to adults seeking to find healthy coping mechanisms.
Beyond Conquering Your Stress & Fears Dr. Kinrys along with Dr. Gold tackle more natural options for dealing with Anxiety and Stress. This self-book is a practical guide is formulated as an easy format to try natural solutions over pursuing conventional treatments like pharmaceutical medications. It is pointed out that there is both positive and negative stress which one you personally experience depends on your own unique experience of the tension between the strain from the conflict between our external environment and us. I found that they do not try to make you feel that this unique way our own personal fears and stress tackle our lives does not change that others suffer also. This short one hundred fifty-five page self-help book has a lot of bang for your buck. The references for herbal and mineral supplements alone saves you tons of time and stress finding ways all the possible supplements to help you outside of traditional drugs. I read Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress after reading Dr. Kinrys book Conquering Your Stress & Fears and I found the information completely unique to both books. I found the information invaluable and even though I do not suffer from an anxiety disorder useful to help me with my occasional anxiety.
I own a business, and I love natural healing concepts, so when I saw the book "Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress A Practical Guide," I knew that it was something I needed.

As a small business owner, stress is a common theme in my life, so I am constantly trying to find ways to lessen that stress, as I know, it will make my life easier.

I liked that the authors acknowledged that there are certainly medications out there that can help with stress and anxiety, but they only put a band-aid on what the main cause of the stress and anxiety is. With more natural solutions, you can start to do this on your own without relying on medication.

I have been doing an elimination diet to help with some food allergies, and I definitely could see the correlation between that diet and what the authors propose in this book, especially how food can have such a powerful impact on our overall health and well-being. Most of us eat blindly, eat too many processed foods, and never even think about the consequences of that. Food isn't the only "remedy" in this book either. There are many suggestions, in fact, and a wonderful guide to give you even more insight.
