I honestly love this thing, before I bought this, I had the mighty bright travelers light, which was pretty good, I had that for about three years, and it sorta died on me when I dropped it in a largish puddle. So I bought this little guy, and wow is he bright, like 4x brighter then my old one.With the way it's designed it's very comfortable to use with both normal books and an e reader with a case. I actually used this mostly with my kindle and stuck the clip in the area between the case and kindle, and lit the whole screen just perfectly. Also works great with books, magazines, in the car, at the movies, basically also as a general flashlight.
If I could change one thing about this it would be the METAL clip. Which if your not careful can scratch anything your using, I've scratched my kindle, and majority of the books I've used with it. I order to fix this problem I wrapped the clip with electrical tape, and problem solved. If it wasn't for that little problem I'd give it 5 stars. Maybe they could change the clip to either plastic or put a rubberized covering on it. I was actually thinking about giving it a couple of coats of paint to see if that would work.

Battery dies really quick
Horrible. The light is SO freaking bright. Woke up my husband. I don't think I could use on plane with out disturbing people. It also made my eyes uncomfortable after 10 mins. I use it as a flashlight.
Compact and light, the bulb is bright enough for this to be a travel must. However, the included batteries were flat, so order CR2032 batteries at the same time.
This arrived in good shape, and works exactly as promised. Even better, is that it gives my children the feeling that they are getting away with staying up later, as they get to read by 'flashlight'. I like using mine because I can read in bed, without disturbing anyone. This is especially useful when traveling and staying in hotels. I've bought three, and all three are still working, with one battery change.
I found this to be way too bright for me to use at night to read. I wanted something subtle that lit enough to read but not so much that it would disturb my husband. Instead I use it as a flashlight. It lights up the entire room when I have it on. i was very disappointed.
I own several different book lights, but this one is my favorite. It clips easily to the book without adding an uncomfortable weight to the top of the book, and the beam is wide and easily maneuvered. You will like using this one!
